Mountains, Volcanoes, and More, Right From Home!

Who says a virtual classroom can’t become a world of adventure?

This week, our youngest general studies students brought geography to life as they proudly presented their landform projects during class. After spending the year learning about different types of landforms in social studies, the students had the opportunity to turn their knowledge into creative 3D models made right from their own homes.

Aharon, Ariel, Gavi, Gavriel, and Yael worked incredibly hard to create detailed models of craters, volcanoes, islands, and plateaus. Each project reflected not only creativity and effort, but also a strong understanding of the concepts they learned throughout the year.

The excitement truly came alive when the students presented their projects to the class. One by one, they confidently explained their landforms, shared interesting facts, and showed off their hard work on screen. For a little while, the virtual classroom transformed into a landscape filled with erupting volcanoes, towering plateaus, and distant islands!

A huge credit goes to Morah Esti for making learning so engaging and meaningful throughout the year. Her dedication and enthusiasm helped the students build knowledge, confidence, and excitement for learning, even through a virtual classroom setting.

This project was a wonderful reminder that creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning can happen anywhere, and that some of the biggest ideas can come from the smallest students.
