Movie Night Magic: Young Avraham Comes to Life

Last week, something truly special happened at our school, Movie Night!

Sixty children logged in from all over the world, coming from Day School, After School, Hebrew School, and Private Tutoring, ready for an evening of fun, friends, and a story that has inspired generations. Many joined in their pajamas and with a little homemade popcorn for the full movie experience.

The screen lit up with Young Avraham, and for a couple of hours, the children watched the life of Avraham Avinu come alive.

Parents shared pictures showing how their children enjoyed the evening. Some were snuggled up, others just joined as they were, and a few had a little popcorn mess afterwards. The joy was clear in every photo.

A big thank you to Goldie Shemtov, who coordinated the extracurricular programs and made this event possible.

Movie Night reminded us that learning Torah isn’t just about reading or studying; it can also be about experiencing, sharing, and celebrating together. Watching the life of Avraham Avinu come alive on the screen made the story unforgettable for our students.

Here’s to more nights of pajamas, popcorn, and learning that leaps off the screen and into hearts!
